Justin “Chunk” M. Corey, age 25, resident of Union City, PA, died on Friday, December 5, 2008 as a result of a one car vehicle accident occuring Friday morning on S. Good Hope Road, W. Salem Twp., Mercer County, PA. He was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident.
Justin was born on September 20, 1985 in Methuen, MA the son of Tammy Corey. He attended Meadville High School and had worked at various jobs in the area. He enjoyed the sports of hunting and fishing and the Dallas Cowboys football team. He had many good friends and was known as a jovial person.
Family members surviving in addition to his mother, Tammy, who resides in Union City include a brother – Jeffrey Corey and a sister – Nicole Corey and her daughter – Leilah Corey all of Meadville; his maternal grandfather- John Leonhart of Cambridge Springs; his girl friend – Ashley of Greenville and his best friend – Shawn Artice of Corry and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother – Jacquelyn Myers Leonhart.
Friends may call at the Van Matre Family Funeral Home in Cambridge Springs on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 and are invited to attend funeral services there on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Jim Callender, pastor of the First Church of God in Cambridge Springs will officiate.
