Paul Edward Worley, age 44, resident of 18759 Grange Center Road, Saegertown, PA died suddenly at Meadville Medical Center emergency room on Saturday, October 24, 2009 in the loving arms of his wife, mother, and family. Paul had been enjoying himself with close family members at a restaurant in Conneaut Lake when he suddenly collapsed. Born on September 6, 1965 in Cleveland, Ohio, he was a son of Wini Dietrick Worley and the late Howard Worley. He married the former Donna Lynn Shaw on August 12, 1989 and she survives.
Worley, Paul EdwardFollowing graduation from Maplewood High School in 1983, Paul attended Alliance College in Cambridge Springs for two years. There he developed a talent for drafting for which he received a State award while still in high school. From 1987 until 1993, Paul worked at Mercer Spring and Wire in Townville and then for Meaville Forge Copmpany in Cambridge Springs as a lathe operator in the CNC Die Department. He was presently employed there at the time of his death.
Paul had a hobby of repairing mechanical equipmment such as cars and lawn mowers. He also enjoyed woodworking. During some of his past time he enjoyed playing poker and the sport of NASCAR racing.
Preceding Paul in death in addition to his father was his son, Danny, who died October 15, 2004 and a brother – Dan Mona. Family surving Paul include his dear wife – Donna and his mother – Wini Worley of Saegertown. Additional survivors include a brother – Eric Trypus and his wife, Flora of Linesville and a sister – Debbie Worley of Saegertown; two sisters-in-law – Cathy Reilly and her husband, Michael of Barbarton, OH and Susan Shaw and her friend – Denny of Saegertown; and his parents-in-law – Floyd Shaw and his wife, Barbara of Saegertown. Included are close friends – Dale Waid and his wife, Stacy and Keith Jones and his wife, Bev; and eight nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Friends may call at the Van Matre Family Funeral Home in Cambridge Springs on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 and are invited to funeral services there on Wednesday at 11:00. Rev James Culbertson, Evangelical Free Church minister will officiate. Interment will be in Saegertown Cemetery.
