Peggy Sue Wurster, age 49, resident of 24897 Ridge Road, Cambridge Springs, PA, died unexpectedly on Sunday, April 4, 2010 at Hamot Medical Center, Erie, PA. Born on March 15, 1961, Peggy was a daughter of Wayne Anchors and Carol Cann Anchors and had made her home with them since 2001. She was formerly of Oil City.
Wurster, Peggy SueIn 1979, Peggy graduated from Oil City High School and shortly thereafter worked for Pennzoil in Oil City for a brief time. She then began employment at Polk Center, Polk, PA working with the residents there from 1981 until 1995. Peggy enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles.
Surviving Peggy in addition to her parents is a daughter – Jessica Wurster also living at home; three sisters – Sheri Stone and her husband, Edward of Reno, PA; Wendy Kalwa and her husband, David of Clayton, NC; and Julie Hart and her husband, Tim of Saegertown. Also surviving are six nieces and nephews and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Friends may call at the Van Matre Family Funeral Home in Cambridge Springs on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 and are invited to attend funeral services there on Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Terry Truffin, pastor of Oil City Community Alliance Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Cambridge Cemetery.
