Michael Alan Kruszewski, age 48, resident of 25060 Huston Street, Brooksville, FL, died after an extended illness at Brooksville Regional Hospital on Wednesday, May 5, 2010. Born in Erie, PA on January 22, 1962, he is the son of Lenville and Mary Ann Vogel Strange. He moved to Florida 24 years ago and was employed at 98 Auto Recyclers as a mechanic for 23 years. Michael loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed NASCAR and mud bogging.
Michael was a loving husband, father, son and brother and is survived by his parents – Lenville and Mary Ann Strange of Cambridge Springs; his wife – Jeannette Kruszewski of Brooksville, FL; three sons – Jeffrey Charles Zerbe of Waterford; Michael Alan Kruszewski II of Lakeland, FL; and Kevin Lee Kruszewski of Brooksville, FL; a daughter – Angela Soucy and Arthur of Brooksville, FL; eight grandchildren – Kenneth Soucy, Arthur Soucy, Adam Michael Soucy, and Makayla Kruszewski all of Brooksville, FL; MacKenzie Zerbe, Jayde Zerbe, and Tavvis Zerbe all of Erie; and Kailynn Figueroa of Humble, TX; four brothers -Lenville Strange and his wife, Dorothy and Alex Kruszewski and his wife, Carol both of Cambridge Springs; Lloyd Thomas Strange and his wife, Debbie and James (Duey) Strange both of Erie; three sisters – Margaret Chatt and her husband, Floyd of Erie; Maggie Hinkle of Hawaii; and Wanda Ross and her husband, Bill of Florida. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding Michael in death was a brother, William Kruszewski.
Friends may call at the Van Matre Family Funeral Home in Cambridge Springs on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral services will be held there Friday morning at 11:00 with Reverend Clifford Cartwright, pastor of Cambridge Springs Christian Missionary and Alliance Church officiating. Interment will be in LeBoeuf Cemetery, Mill Village. Memorials may be made to the family in care of the Van Matre Family Funeral Home, 335 Venango Ave., Cambridge Springs, PA 16403.
