Sharon L. Teed, age 62, resident of 25779 Highways 6 & 19, Cambridge Springs, PA died Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Meadville Medical Center, Meadville, PA. Born on November 3, 1947 in Corry, PA, she was a daughter of the late Fred Wright and Elizabeth Peters Wright. A home maker, Sharon loved her children and was known as the life of the party. She enjoyed gardening and caring for farm animals.
Sharon is survived by four daughters – Valerie Reynolds and her husband, Raymond of Yelm, WA; Kim King and her husband, John of Saegertown; Courtney Teed and Emily Teed both of Cambridge Springs; a son – Steven Teed and his wife, Tess of Bremerton, WA ; four brothers and five sisters. In addition there are numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many good friends who survive including Sharon’s former husband – Nevin Teed and his companion, Leona Smith, of Townville. Step children surviving are Joanne Crisman and her husband, Lloyd of North Carolina; James Reynolds and his wife, Victoria of Texas; Vance Reynolds of Saegertown; Richard Reynolds, Jr. and his wife, Brenda of Meadville; Tom Reynolds and his wife, Sophie of Meadville; and Russell Reynolds and his wife, Teresa of Saegertown.
Preceding Sharon in death was a son – David Teed and also her companion of 27 years – Richard Reynolds and his son, Robert Reynolds.
Friends may call at the Van Matre Family Funeral Home in Cambridge Springs Saturday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Rod Beardsley, pastor of the Cambridge Springs First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in St. James Cemetery, Crossingville.
