Carl F. Bulik, age, 68, died of natural causes at his residence 21921 Vista Drive, Saegertown, PA on Sunday, July 25. 2010. He lived in the Cambridge and Saegertown areas all of his life. Born on March 10, 1942 in Braddock, PA, he was a son of the late George Bulik and Mary Ann Poduszlo Bulik.

Bulik, Carl F.Following graduation from Cambridge Springs High School, Carl entered the military service serving in the Viet Nam War with the US Army. Upon his discharge, he graduated from Alliance College Technical School with a tool and die degree. He then became employed by General Electric in Erie until his retirement in 2004. Carl enjoyed traveling and gardening. He also liked to attend local interest events around Crawford County. He was a member of the Meadville Moose and the Saegertown VFW.

Surviving Carl was his special friend whom he called the “Love of his life” – Linda Nicewonger of Spartansburg and her daughter – Jamie Carney also of Spartansburg. Linda desires friends to know that Carl mailed a greeting card daily to her for the past 9 years, never missing once. Other family survivors include two nieces – Janet Wilcox of Saegertown and Jennifer Frank of Waterford; and two nephews – Carter Bidwell of Orange, TX and Larry Bidwell of Waterford; and a brother-in-law – Don Bidwell of Waterford. Preceding Carl in death was a sister – Mary Lou Bidwell; a brother – Gerald Lee Bulik; and a great niece – Karen Louise Knowle.

Friends may call at the Van Matre Family Funeral Home in Cambridge Springs on Saturday from 1:00 until 3:00. Funeral services will be held at the Funeral Home at 3:00 with Monsignor Lawrence Speice, pastor of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Cambridge Springs officiating. Interment will be in Venango Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, P.O. Box 8152, Erie, PA 16505.
