Marjorie Ann Williams, age 87, resident of Cambridge Springs, PA for over 50 years died Saturday, July 10, 2010 at Cambridge Springs Rehab and Nursing Center in Cambridge Springs after a time of failing health. Born in Erie, PA on May 6, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Louis Reusch and Marquerite Herman Reusch. Her husband, Donald Williams, preceded her in death on June 1, 1977.

In earlier years, Marge worked at Hammermill Paper in Erie followed by employment as a bank teller at Springs First National bank in Cambridge Springs for a number of years. She then worked as a nurses aide at the San Rosario Nursing Home in Cambridge Springs and finally at the Presbyterian Home in Cambridge Springs for many years. At the Presbyterian Home in addition to being an aide, Marge was activities director which she enjoyed very much. Marge was a giving person and for 17 years worked as a volunteer at the Thrifty Threads store at the Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Edinboro.

Preceding Marge in death in addition to her parents and husband was a sister – Jean Erpenbach, a granddaughter – Amanda, and a dear childhood friend – Jean Nosko. Surviving Marge is a son – Louis Raymond (Bud) Williams of Cambridge Springs; a daughter – Nancy Jackson of Titusville, FL; three grandchildren – Sandy, Charles, and Carolyn; and three great grandchildren – Tommy, Sarah, and Christian.

Friends may call at the Van Matre Family Funeral Home in Cambridge Springs on Wednesday from 10:00 until 12:00. Funeral services will be private. Interment will be in Venango Cemetery.
