Richard A. Mosier, age 80, died Thursday, December 16, 2010 at St. Vincent Health Center, Erie, PA. Born in Erie, PA on November 10, 1930, he was a son of the late Forest & Vera Mosier. A resident of Cambridge Springs for the past 16 years, he formerly had lived in Harborcreek for 31 years. He graduated from Harborcreek High School in 1949.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years – Joanne Teubert Mosier; a son – Ken Mosier and his wife, Gisela; two grandchildren – Ashley and Taylor Mosier; and a great-grandchild – Carson W. Klemm. He was preceded in death by a brother – Alton Mosier and two sisters – Martha Schwartz and Dora Tannehill.
Richard was a loving husband and father as well as a dedicated grape farmer and custom home builder for 60 years. He was a 30 year member of the Lakewood Rod & Gun Club. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed bowling, hiking, and spending time with his family & friends.
A private memorial service will be conducted at Real Life Assembly in Erie officiated by Pastor Jim Grove. Interment will be at Venango Cemetery, Venango. Memorials may be made to the Regional Cancer Center, 2500 W. 12th St. Erie, PA 16505.
