James “Jamie” Kalenik Kenneth Filegar, age 40, former longtime resident of Cambridge Springs, PA, died Saturday, April 30, 2011 of natural causes. A son of James Filegar and the late Carol Weed Filegar, Jamie was born in Meadville on November 5, 1970. He attended Cambridge Springs High School.
Jamie also attended Edinboro University for a short time and worked at various jobs in the area. He enjoyed conversing with his many friends, particularly in subjects of philosophy. He also enjoyed listening to music and playing his guitar.
Surviving Jamie is his father – James Filegar and his step mother – Cindy Willis Filegar of 1282 Municipal Drive, Duncansville, PA; his grandmother – Mary Yarosh of Saegertown; a half brother – Michael Filegar; two half sisters – Jessica Filegar and Hayley Filegar all of Duncansville; two step sisters – Naomi Bundy Pelc of Cochranton and Holly Bundy of Conneautville; an uncle – Lynn Yarosh; an aunt – Janet Yarosh, and a cousin – Gabby Yarosh. Preceding Jamie in death in addition to his mother was a step brother – Jeremy Bundy.
There are no calling hours or funeral services being scheduled for the present, but a memorial service will be held later in Cambridge Springs and will be announced accordingly.
