Linda L. Bosch Goodenow, age 65 of Waterford, died unexpectedly at her home on Friday, April 29, 2011 after a brief illness. Born on April 25, 1946 in NuMine, PA, she was a daughter of the late Archie and Florabelle Lamison Boarts.

Goodenow, Linda L. BoschLinda was primarily a homemaker but also had worked at Bogert’s Business Forms for 10 years, Country Fair for 3 years, and Bliley Electric for 4 years. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 169 in Venango, she was an avid Steelers fan, and she enjoyed going to casinos and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Boarts; her husband of 22 years, Eugene Bosch, who died in 1988; her second husband, Richard V. Goodenow Sr., married 15 years, who died in 2008; and aunts, uncles, and grandparents.

She is survived by 4 brothers and 3 sisters; her children: Traci Bedow of Edinboro and her dear friend Jeff Sanders, Terri Goodenow (Rich) of Waterford, Tammy Goodenow (Brian) of Edinboro, Tonya Goodenow (Brent) of Waterford, Scott Goodenow of Waterford, and USAF Tech. Sgt. Shaun Goodenow (Robyn) of Alamogordo, NM; also, her grandchildren: Todd, Jessica, Amanda, Ryan, Richard, Nick, Josh, Joey, Jared, Aleea, and Dean; her great-grandchildren: Dylan, Gabby, and Breonna; and her very loved and dear friend Ruby English and her son Randall English of Edinboro.

Friends may call at the Van Matre Funeral Home, 105 Walnut Street, Waterford on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. concluding with the funeral service at 8:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
