To Kathy’s family, I remember her just the way her picture shows. Her yearbook picture from Fort Plain is the smile and warm heart. It looks like she never changed. I have fond memories of her keeping Jim in line. A smile and shake of her head. I hope you find comfort in the kind words of others. The Lockyer family were all a joy to be around. I’m sure it hasn’t changed. Anywhere she lived she touched lives….
Dear Kirsten,Kara, and Family, I was shocked to hear about Kathy’s passing. She will be missed! You’re in my thoughts and prayers. I cannot take away your pain, but I can listen if you want to talk about it. ALWAYS know you’re NEVER alone!
Dear Jackson Family, Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your loved one. There is no great saddness felt than when we lose someone we deeply love and it is at these times that we may feel comfort is unimaginable. Please know that there is an unfailing source of comfort we can turn to- Our Great God. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 points to God as being “the Father of tender mercies, and the God of all Comfort”. These qualities are no doubt what drew Katherine to study His word. God through His word that Bible also provides a hope that someday you will see your beloved again (John 5:28,29). This promised future includes Perfect Health and everlasting life where “the former things will have passed away” (Rev. 21:4, Psalm 37:29). May you be able to draw comfort from knowing that God Does hear our cries and He Does Care.
