Beulah R. McGee, age 88, former Cambridge Springs resident, died Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Edinboro Manor. She had been at Edinboro Manor for the past nine years and had lived in the Cambridge area for most of her life.

McGee, Beulah R.Born on May 4, 1924 in Rockdale Township, Crawford County, Beulah was born to the late Leland Fields and Neva Petit Fields. On October 16, 1943, she married Jess McGee and he preceded her in death on May 26, 1990. Beulah received her education from Rockdale School and was a home maker all of her life. She enjoyed needle pointing, reading, and doing small word puzzles. She was a former member of the Miller Station United Methodist Church and had attended the Cambridge Springs Sr. Citizens.

Beulah is survived by two daughters – Darlene Carr and her husband, Ty Smith of Erie and Ann Colvin and her husband, Dale of Waterford; and a son – Raymond McGee of Cambridge Springs. She is also survived by eight grandchildren – Carol Smith, Cindy Clark, Joyce Carr, Ralph Carr ll, David McGee, John McGee, Marcus McGee, Joyce Colvin, and Brian Colvin. Eighteen great grandchildren also survive. Beulah was preceded in death by two brothers – Clayton Fields and Clifford Fields.

Friends may call at the Van Matre Family Funeral Home in Cambridge Springs on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral services will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with interment at Millers Station Cemetery.
