Edward Styborski, age 88, resident of 22122 Center Street Ext., Cambridge Springs, PA died at Rolling Fields, Conneautville, PA on Sunday, September 2, 2012. Born in Cambridge Township, Crawford County on June 4, 1924, he was a son of the late Frank H. Styborski and Antonia Oleska Styborski. Edward was a dairy farmer and was a lifelong resident of the Cambridge area. On June 4, 1949, he married the former Betty Hotchkiss and she survives.

Styborski, EdwardEdward was an active member of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Cambridge Springs and had served as a Cambridge Township Road Supervisor and was an active member of the Polish National Alliance and the PA State Police Auxiliary.

Surviving family members in addition to his wife, Betty, of 63 years, include three children – twin, Victoria Hendrickson and her husband, Edward of Cambridge Springs and – twin, David Styborski and his wife, Wanda of Fort Wayne, TX; and Philip Styborski and friend, Sharon of York, PA. Surviving are eight grandchildren – Heather Mitchell, Brian Styborski, Holly Yee, Amber Monte, Katie Couture, Jessica Hendrickson, Adam Styborski, and Andria Culbert. Also surviving are six great grandchildren. In addition there are four sisters – Francis Olszewski Taylor, Florence Yurcich, Mary Alice “Tootsie” Malinowski, and Judy Novak and three brothers – John Styborski, Stanley Styborski; and Paul Styborski.

Preceding Edward in death were seven brothers – Leo Styborski, Frank Styborski, Mack Styborski, Ted Styborski, Henry Styborski, Adam Styborski, and Alec Stybosrki.

Friends may call at the Van Matre Family Funeral Home in Cambridge Springs on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9. Vigil prayer services will be held at 8:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10:00 am at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Cambridge Springs with Reverend David Poulson, pastor of the Church as celebrant. Interment will be in Cambridge Cemetery.
