Christine Ellen Hoehn, age 36, of Edinboro, died at her home on Saturday, November 17, 2012 after fighting cancer. Born in Erie on May 11, 1976, she is a daughter of James Edward and JoAnn Farley Turner.

Hoehn, Christine EllenA 1994 graduate of General McLane High School, Christine earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Mercyhurst College and was currently employed as office manager at S-Cubed in Edinboro. She enjoyed many outdoor activities like camping, and she was an avid softball player. She loved her family and any opportunity to get together with them.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Shawn Edward Turner; her paternal grandparents, Arnold and Dorothy New Turner, and Coy Turner; and her maternal grandparents, Robert and Jennie Hess Farley.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Richard Paul Hoehn, whom she married July 31, 1999; her son, Chad Anthony Hoehn; two sisters, Patricia Carter and her friend Don Tufts, and her girls Kristen Hiscox and Haley Carter, and Kimberly Clapper and her husband Rodney, and her children Tiffany and Cody Turner, Abbey Holder, and Paige Liggit; and a brother, Allen Turner and his?fianc??Kelli Rager, and their sons Lincoln and Owen. Other family members include her father- and mother-in-law, James and Catherine Hoehn; brothers-in-law, Joe Hoehn and wife Nadine, Bill Hoehn and wife Kerry and their children Chloe and Chance Hoehn, James L. Hoehn and his children Alexandra and Louis; sisters-in-law, Diane Voegle and husband Bob and her children Alyssa and Craig Dobson, Barb Therasse and husband Dave and their children Janelle and Bill Therasse; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Friends may call at the Van Matre Family Funeral Home, 306 Erie Street, Edinboro on Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be there Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. officiated by Pastor Rob Dunn of Millcreek Community Church. Burial will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in McKean.
