Cindi Lou McKissock, age 53, resident of 229 Beach Avenue, Cambridge Springs, PA was pronounced deceased at Meadville Medical Center, Meadville, PA as the result of an automobile accident occurring on Thursday afternoon, January 24, 2013 on State Highway # 19, south of Saegertown. Cindi was born on October 17th 1959 in Panama City, Florida, a daughter of the late Robert J. Burnley, USAF (RET) and Pauline E. Ferris Burnley. She traveled with her family throughout the United States and resided in Rome, Italy for two years where her father was stationed in the military. She and her family then returned to the United States in 1969 making their home in Cambridge Springs.

Following graduation, Cindi worked as a juvenile probation officer in Meadville, at the Tri-County Intermediate Unit in Edinboro, and then for the PLCB in Erie and Crawford County. She presently was working as a server at the Big Skinny Hot Dog Shop in Cambridge Springs where she enjoyed spending her time interacting with her co-workers and the community. She was a friend with Bill W. for four years and a best friend to many in her community. Most of all, Cindi enjoyed spending time with her family – Samantha, Ryan, and the “love of her life”, Charlee. She had become an avid fan of General McLane wrestling and enjoyed cheering them on at their matches. She loved traveling with her daughter and granddaughter to the weekend tournaments supporting Ryan and his wrestling team. Cindi also loved shopping with Samantha and Charlee, as long as it was all for Charlee. Cindi’s heart warming smile, healing words and compassionate soul will be incredibly missed by her family, her many friends, and most of all her adoring grandaughter, Charlee.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
By Mary Elizabeth Frye
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there. I did not die.

When we think of Cindi, we think of her as a young child, teenager and very young adult. She spent most of her time with Alicia who especially sends her love and condolences as we do too. Cindi was a beautiful lady who always was a positive person, and so much fun to be with. She will be sorely missed by all who were fortunate to call her a friend. We are so proud of her accomplishments. Death is not the end, only the beginning of an eternal life without pain and worries. Cindi will always be in your hearts and memories. Therefore she lives! We send you our prayers and love to your grieving hearts.
Samantha & Mckissock Family,
My sincere condolences on your loss. May you fine peace in all of the memories you have together. You are all in the Eveanovich family thoughts and prayers.
*Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free,
I’m following paths God made for me
I took his hand I heard him call
Then turned, and bid farewell to all
I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to sing, to play
Tasks left undone must stay that way
I found my peace… at close of play
And if my parting left a void
Then fill it with remembered joy
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss
Ah yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened… deep with sorrow
I wish you sunshine of tomorrow
My life’s been full I’ve savoured much
Good friends, good times
A loved one’s touch
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief
Don’t lengthen it now with grief
Lift up your hearts and share with me,
God wants me now… He set me free.*
Sam, Ryan & Charlee,
Words cannot express the sorrow you all must feel. Just remember that Cindi is walking beside you, and grows with every breath Charlee takes. Teach her Cindi’s ways, her personality, and most of all how to grow. Sam, your mother was very proud of all of your accomplishments; including Charlee. You could always see her glowing when Charlee was near. Ryan, you have two wonderful ladies by your side, and now also have Cindi as an angel. May she always be with you and watch over you until you meet again.
Cindi, your loss leaves us heartbroken. I am so very proud of all you overcame, and so happy that you had Charlee, Sam, Ryan and so many friends and family who love you as much as they/we do.
You were truly a rare, giving friend.
Rest In Peace and know you did well.
Sorry for all of your losses and prayers to the families. Cindi was a wonderful, fine, beautiful woman and will be missed greatly.

Please accept my sincere sympathy on the recent loss of your dear loved one. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. May the God of comfort be with you in this time of sorrow. May these words bring you hope, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” (Revelation 21:4) This promise will be fulfilled one day, until then, may all your memories sustain you in the days to come.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. We love you.
