Charles R. “Buz” Mosier, age 69, resident of 21447 Hecker Road, Cambridge Springs, PA died suddenly on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Meadville Medical Center, Meadville, PA. Born on January 15, 1944 in Meadville, Buz is the son of Ruth Margaret McLallen and the late Jonas William Mosier who died in 1965. He lived at his present address since 1979. He married the former Paula Jean Skelton on November 12, 1994 and she survives.
Buz graduated from Cambridge Springs High School with the Class of 1962. He was a truck driver and had been employed with Hardner-Doyle Construction, Walmer Trucking, Master Feed and Grain, Rohrer Trucking,Penn DO, Jones Motor Group Hot Shot Express where he owned his own truck, and was currently employed by Russell Standard. Buz enjoyed hunting, gardening and attending auctions.
Surviving Buz in addition to his wife – Paula and his mother – Ruth Mosier of Edinboro; are two sons – Kevin James Mosier and his wife, Moneau of Cochranton and Christopher James Mosier who is living at home; a daughter – Kimberly Nicole also at home; five grandchildren – Keith Mosier, Tiffany Mosier, Amanda Mosier, Michael Mosier, and Aaron Mosier; two sisters – Kathylene Anderson and her husband, Harold of Kane and Janice Wood and her husband, Frank of Randleman, NC; and a brother – Donald Mosier and his wife, Carol of McKean. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Buz was preceded in death by his first wife – Denise Ann Cleary Mosier, whom he married on March 13, 1965 and who died on March 18, 1992; two sons – Karl Dean Mosier who died in 1986 and Kip Allen Mosier who died in 2004.
Friends may call at the Van Matre Family Funeral Home in Cambridge Springs on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 and to funeral services there on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. Reverend John Phipps, United Methodist minister, will officiate. Interment will be in Venango Cemetery.

Buz was a great man, he pulled my product for many years infact I used to load him when I was just a kid. He always got the load there on time and was back and ready to do it agian with that always happy spirit he had. Christopher I had met you several times and would love to see you stop in when you come to the farm show. You all have one great angel watching over you. God Bless.
