Grace R. Jones Osborn, 93, of Waterford, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on Wednesday, March 27, 2013. She was born on November 1, 1919, daughter of the late Leonard and Ruth Garlick Jones.
Grace is survived by Wilbur Osborn, her loving husband of 75 years; her children: Don Osborn and his wife Joanne of Union City, Peggy Pifer and her husband Dave of Melbourne, FL, Joanne Holst and her husband Marvin of Erie, Dale Osborn and his wife Lynda of Henderson, KY, and Duane Osborn and his wife Susan of Union City; and 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Grace was the oldest of ten children and predeceased by a brother, James M. Jones; a sister, Maria Crays Nagel; and a granddaughter, Vicki Osborn Schrader. Her seven surviving siblings include John Jones, Gladys Pitroff, Mary Shore, Thomas Jones, David Jones, Ruth Copen and her husband Frank, and Winifred Corbin.
Among her loves were her family, music, traveling, and wintering in Florida for many years.
Friends may visit at the Van Matre Funeral Home, 105 Walnut Street, Waterford on Monday, April 1, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Asbury United Methodist Church, 23 West Second Street, Waterford, PA 16441 on Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Gary Donaldson will officiate. Interment will follow at Waterford Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Asbury United Methodist Church, or to Regional Home Health Hospice, 3526 Peach Street, Erie, PA 16508.
The Osborn family would like to express thanks to the wonderful caregivers and hospice staff who were instrumental in assuring Grace a peaceful transition from her stay on earth to her heavenly and eternal home.

Bobbie and I both remember Aunt Grace as a person given to hospitality. which to me was evident a Christmas afternoon gatherings ,both at the old brick house on the hill by the tri terrace barn and the house down by us route 19, also near the barn. and about 2 miles north of Waterford, pa.
We both will miss aunt gracd very deeply and our condolances will go to Uncle Wilbur and cousins; Don, Peg, Joanne, Dale, Duane and their respective families.
Since she knew the Lord wil will be looking for that heavenly grand reunion when we will all see her and the Savior she Loved.
I really enjoyed listening to Grace talk about her family and her travels. Grace was a very sweet person and had a beautiful smile.. I really enjoyed caring for Grave. She also has wonderful family. I will miss Grace but I know she is with the lord now. She will always be remembered tho.
