Patricia Eileen Bennett, age 64, resident of 359 Walnut Street, Meadville, PA died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Saint Vincent Health Center, Erie, PA. Born on September 21, 1948, in Meadville, Patricia was a daughter of the late Irvin Bennett and Martha Coleene Beucher Bennett. She was a stepdaughter of Ellene Bennett, who raised her.
A licensed practical nurse, Patricia was employed at Springs Manor in Cambridge Springs until 1987 when she entered private duty nursing. She attended Living Waters Church in Meadville.
Surviving Patricia are two daughters – Monica Lynn Yokes and Brenda Eileen Yokes; four grandchildren – Eileen Nichole Bennett, Richard Irvin Bennett, Summer Rose Bennett, and Arwen Galadriel Bennett. Also surviving is a great grandson – Conner Zackery Hardinger, a brother – Larry Johns and his wife, Martha of Gettysburg; a sister – Debra Bradley of Atlanta, GA; a brother – Robert Bennett and his wife, Dorinda of Great Bend, PA; and several nieces and nephews. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held May 23rd at 6:30 p.m. at Living Waters Church, 12891 Rt. #98, Meadville. Memorial gifts may be made to the family % Van Matre Family Funeral Home, 335 Venango Avenue, Cambridge Springs, PA 16403.
Thank you all for your kind words. Dear Mr.Patrick, I’m the granddaughter of Patricia, I believe I heard my grandmother say your name many times when I was younger but I don’t remember much. I use to go to the flea market with her when I was young and helped her with her store. I’m hoping I can go back to the flea markets she use to go to when I can. My family does miss her very much and we are living our lives happily with her in our hearts
