Bonita Louise Weidner Gerlosky, age 70, resident of Crawford County Care Center, Saegertown, PA died on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Meadville Medical Center, Meadville, PA. Born on November 27, 1942 in Crawford County, PA, Bonnie was a daughter of the late Peter Weidner and Margaret Vandervort Weidner.

After graduation from Cambridge Springs High School, Bonnie worked for many years as an aide in a personal care home in Geneva, Ohio. She married Stanley Gerlosky on June 26, 1985 and he preceded her in death on December 8, 1991. Following his passing, Bonnie returned to Cambridge Springs to live and then to Saegertown where she has resided for many years.

Surviving Bonnie are six sisters – Karen Pridavka of Plantation, FL; Margaret Weidner of Saegertown; Virginia Kester of Cambridge Springs; Bernadette Wilson Van Slyke of Meadville; Francine Nelson of Cambridge Springs; and Janell Weidner of Meadville. She is also survived by five brothers – Jerry Weidner of Meadville; Joe Weidner of Thompson, OH; Peter Weidner of Venango; John Weidner of Springfield, MO; and Kevin Weidner of Saegertown. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister – Martha Caldwell.

Friends may call at the Van Matre Family Funeral Home in Cambridge Springs on Sunday from 7:00 to 9:00. Prayer Vigil services will begin Sunday evening at 8:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Cambridge Springs on Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend David Poulson, pastor of the Church officiating. Interment will take place in Madison Memorial Cemetery, Madison Township, OH on Monday afternoon.
