Cynthia Jean Loll Borkowski, age 40 and resident of Erie, died peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, July 30, 2013. Born April 14, 1973 in Erie, she was the beloved daughter of Don and Cheryl Loll of Waterford, and the mother of Taylor Lynn Borkowski of Griffen, GA. She was a 1991 graduate of Fort LeBoeuf High School and she loved crafting and creating art.
In addition to her parents, Cynthia is survived by her former husband, David Borkowski of Griffen, GA; her daughter, Taylor Lynn Borkowski; a brother, James Raymond Loll and a sister, Dawn Michelle Karageorgis, both of Erie; and several nieces and nephews.
Cynthia’s greatest joy was watching her daughter grow into the talented young artist that she is today, and was amazed by the sheer beauty each piece contained with the rich detail and patience they required. Without a doubt, we know Cindy will continue to watch over her daughter in the years to come.
Visiting hours will be at the Van Matre Funeral Home, 105 Walnut Street, Waterford on Friday evening from 7-9 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 9:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the family.
I regret not having seen Cindy for a number of years, only to come across her obituary when I tried to find her. We were childhood friends many years ago and I’m confident I’ll see her again someday in heaven. My prayers are with her family. May they know the peace that only God can give.
I’m sadden by Cindy’s passing and like anyone who has come to know her will miss her. I have only known her for 1 ½ yrs and have seen her joys and sorrows, but she took comfort in knowing that I would take care of her little dog if anything were to happen to her. I had a pleasure of meeting her lovely daughter whom she was very proud of. Life can be a struggle for some souls and the reward for our struggles is eternal peace. I give my condolences to her entire family and wish them only fond memories of her.
I am so sorry to hear of Cindy’s passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to you.
I’m so sorry for the loss of your loved one. At times like these little can be said to bring us comfort. But take to heart that God knows all your inner thoughts and deepest feelings (Psalms 139:23). Lean on Him during these difficult times. He is also going to do away with death, sorrow, and pain forever. That promise can be found at Revelation 21:4 soon to be a realization in the near future.
