Dear Clara:
We hadn’t seen you recently at the Soldiers and Sailors Home and found that Bob was moved to a different room. I always enjoyed talking to both of you when I came there to see my Dad. Bob was a joy to see at the Court House — always smiling and joking. More recently, it was obvious he was declining. You were the most devoted wife, spending your days with Bob at the Home. My dad moved to the nursing home with my mother a week ago (finally, after 8 months, they are together).
Your journey has been a long one and now Bob is at rest. May memories of the good times you shared and the memories you made together, sustain you during this difficult time and the days to come.
I’m very sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. I know he’s in a better place & we all will see him again one day. My heartfelt condolences to his family & friends. ????
Speaking for Aunt Adele, cousins Sandy, Pamela, Mark & myself ( David ). We are all so very sad to hear of Bob’s passing. I was talking with my mother yesterday about Bob & his brothers & sisters. I fondly remember the many visits to Uncle Edgar & Aunt Stella’s farm. Bob, Terry, Judy, Jerry, Rita & Steve were all there and we had some great times. I often think back about those times. I had a lot of respect for the entire Hall family & always will. I know Bob is in Heaven & we all will see him again when our time comes. God bless & keep you Bob. ????
Dad, love you so so much! Your love will be forever in my heart! Missing you. Love Sis (aka Melinda)
