Eva M. Parisot Koseff, age 76, of 12160 Skyview Drive, Edinboro, PA, passed away at home on Saturday, October 19, 2013 following a hard fought battle with cancer. Eva was born on May 12, 1937 in Chaumont, Hte. Marne, France to the late Jean A. and Marie Jeanne Geoffroy Parisot. On December 23, 1956, she married her true love, Roger Koseff, who was serving in the U.S.A.F and he survives. Eva arrived in the United States with their infant son, on February 28, 1959 reuniting her family.

Koseff, Eva M. ParisotEva was well known as an extremely talented and accomplished French cook and baker, and for her kindness and generosity. She took great pride in her home and in attaining her U.S. citizenship in 1970. She demonstrated her pride in her country by voting in all elections. She was fiercely devoted to her family. Eva will be sadly missed by her family, extended family, and friends.

Surviving Eva in addition to her husband, Roger, of Edinboro; her two sons – Alain of Edinboro and Dean and his wife, Lisa of Guys Mills; four grandchildren – Sylvia , Nathan, and Emmalee Koseff all of Guys Mills; and Mindy Peterson of Girard; and two great-grandchildren – Elise and Ethan Peterson of Girard. Also surviving are two brothers – Pierre and Thierry Parisot of France; a nephew – Fabrice Clement; and a niece – Isabelle Clement of France; and a cousin – Josette Ellingworth of Ft. Worth, TX. Preceding Eva in death in addition to her parents were her in-laws – Daniel and Irene Koseff who were like second parents to her; and twin son and daughter – Steven and Sylvie who died in infancy; a sister – Bernadette Clement and a brother – Yves; and an infant sister – Christine Parisot; and a niece – Christelle Clement.

Koseff, Eva M. ParisotFamily and friends may call at the Van Matre Family Funeral Home, 335 Venango Avenue, Cambridge Springs on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 and on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Edinboro on Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. Reverend Daniel Hoffman, will officiate. Interment will follow at Miller Station Cemetery, Cambridge Springs.
