Richard Arthur Glenn, age 80, resident of 82 West Pearl Street, Albion, PA, passed away at Saint Vincent Health Center, Erie, PA on Friday, April 25, 2014, following a short illness. Born in Erie, PA on January 26, 1934, Richard was a son of the late Raymond Glenn and Lucille Thomas Glenn.

He received his education at Cambridge Springs High School and shortly thereafter entered the US Army serving for several years. Following his honorable discharge, he worked for several companies in the area doing excavating. Richard’s primary employment was with Norm Rabel Construction of Albion which he did for more than 20 years retiring in the late 1990’s. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting and being in the out doors.

Surviving Richard is a son – Richard Arthur Glenn, Jr of Yuma, Arizona; a sister – Rachael Hornaman of Erie; a brother – Tom Glenn and his wife, Judy of Clawson, MI; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Van Matre Family Funeral Home in Cambridge Springs on Monday, April 28th from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. when a funeral service will be held. Reverend Daren Barnett, associate pastor of Cambridge Springs First Baptist Church, will officiate. Interment will follow in Cambridge Springs Cemetery.
