Pauline E. Kerr Brown, age 92, resident of 29365 Bell Road, Waterford, PA passed away at Meadville Rehab and Nursing Center, Meadville, PA on Friday, June 20, 2014 after a period of declining health. Born on September 9,1921 in Union City, PA, Pauline was a daughter of the late Clarence Kerr and Clara Kerr Williams. She married Edward L. Brown on May 17, 1969 and he survives.
Pauline had worked for many years at the Log Cabin Restaurant in Waterford. She was a member of American Legion Post #237 of Union City and the Venango VFW Post #169. As a home maker she enjoyed cooking and baking and was especially known for her pies. Her favorite outing was going to yard sales. Her grandchildren meant so much to her and she enjoyed the time she spent with them.
Surviving Pauline in addition to her husband, Edward, is her daughter – Tina Watkins of Erie, Tina’s daughter – Casey Armentrout of South Bend, IN and her daughter – Brooklyn Patterson; Tina’s daughter – Emily Armentrout and her son – Chad Barker, Jr.; a son – Paul James Brown and his wife, Wendy of Waterford and their three sons – Paul Lee Brown and his wife, Jessie and their children – Austin and Alex; Jeff Brown and his daughter – Jordan; and Matthew Brown and daughter – Randi Brown and her children Dakota and Madison. Pauline is also survived by a brother – Raymond Kerr and his wife, Bonnie of Florida; a sister – Marylou McMunn of Oil City; and a brother – Kenneth Williams and his wife, Marie of Corry. In addition, numerous nieces and nephews survive.
Friends may call at the Van Matre Family Funeral Home In Cambridge Spring on Sunday from 2-4and 7-9. Funeral services will he held there Monday morning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Millers Station Cemetery.
