Sandra W. Wilcox, age 75, resident of 24037 Miller Hill Road, Cambridge Springs, PA passed away of natural causes on Friday, June 13, 2014 at the Bartlett Gardens, Cambridge Springs where she had lived for the past year. Born in Middlesex, NJ, Sandra was a daughter of the late Cornelious Cadmus, Sr. and Lucille Pearl Latham Cadmus. She married Charles “Red” Edward Wilcox on October 17, 1955, and he preceded her in death on April 17, 2002.

Wilcox, Sandra W.Sandy and her husband, Red, moved to Cambridge Springs in 1968 where they constructed their own house. She treasured the time spent with her children and grandchildren and provided a supportive home in which they nurtured their three children. She was a home maker, a voracious reader, enjoyed sewing, and enjoyed her ice cream.

Preceding her in death in addition to her husband, Red, was a son, Glenn, who died in 1977, and her sister Suzanne Pearl Lesko. Surviving Sandra is a son – Scott Wilcox and his wife, Terri and a daughter – Karen J. Kautz and her husband, Karl, of Fairfax, VA. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Tara Carico and her husband, Dwain, Glenn Hobson, Erin Hobson, Delaynee Wilcox, Derek Kautz, and Kirsten Kautz. Included are five great-grandchildren – Kristina, Jackson, Bennett, Aaron, and Hayden Carico; a brother-in-law – John Lesko of NJ and several nieces and nephews.

A private funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 18, at 10:00 am with Reverend Jeff Bobin pastor of the Cambridge Springs First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Cambridge Cemetery.
