Adam P. Dzeskewicz Jr., age 67, lifelong resident of McKean Township, died Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at his home. Born in Erie on March 17, 1947, Adam is the son of Genevieve Irene Danylko Dzeskewicz of McKean and the late Adam P. Dzeskewicz Sr. He is married to the former Patsy Reichart, and she survives.

Dzeskewicz, Adam P. Jr.Adam was primarily a farmer, taking great pride in his hay, produce and maple syrup. He also drove truck for many years and more recently plowed snow. He was a lifetime member and served on the Board of Directors at St. Francis Ushers Club in McKean, and he enjoyed hunting, bowling, bird watching, and coin collecting.

In addition to his wife of 45 years, Patsy, he leaves behind two children, Patrick A. Dzeskewicz of Erie and Tamara Kemmler (Scott) of Pittsburgh; three grandchildren, Dalton and Delaney Dzeskewicz, and Michael Kemmler; his mother, Genevieve Dzeskewicz; a sister, Cheryl Stewart (Michael) of Waterford, and a brother, Ronald Dzeskewicz (Christina) of McKean; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit with the family at the Gathering Space of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in McKean on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and may attend the funeral mass there Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery.
