Rien was an amazing web site editor of The Panther Press at Saegertown High School. He was reliable and creative, and he did so much for the journalism program in his quiet and competent way. I loved his smile when he was trying to teach me something computer related that was clearly easy for him, but not so much for me. He was always patient and kind. He would have been an incredible teacher…he already taught others much. I will never forget him. My heart goes out to his family. He was such a special young man.
Stacey Hetrick, Adviser, The Panther Press, Saegertown Jr. Sr. High School
