Eva E. Alexander, age 87, passed away at Wesbury United Methodist Community at Meadville, PA on Sunday, January 4, 2015. Born September 3, 1927 in Whitesville, New York, Eva was a daughter of the late Elsie Foy McMaster and Clarence McMaster. She married Richard Drew Alexander on December 23, 1950 and he survives. Eva had been living at Wesbury Assisted Living Center in Meadville with her husband Richard for the past year and a half.

Alexander, Eva E.She was employed at Talon, G.T.I. and Weldons in Meadville, PA in years long past. Eva was a member of Teepleville United Methodist Church and then the First United Methodist Church in Cambridge Springs where she was active as treasurer of the United Methodist Women for many years, had served there as financial secretary, and had served as a trustee. She belonged to the Rockdale Garden Club, Cambridge Springs Senior Center where she enjoyed playing cards, Beverly Nursing Home Auxiliary and Tops, both in Cambridge Springs. Eva liked cats and had many stuffed animals.

In addition to her husband, Dick, Eva is survived by a son – Gary Alexander of Littleton, Colorado and a daughter – Susan Storms of Meadville; three grandsons – Jesse Petrillo, Clayton Storms and Luke Storms all of Meadville; a great grandson – Colin Petrillo, also of Meadville and a brother Clarence J. McMaster of Louisville, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her sister – Inez Ford.

Friends may call at the Van Matre Family Funeral Home in Cambridge Springs on Wednesday, January 7th from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. when funeral services will be held. Interment will be in Millers Station Cemetery.
