“Full of life”, “enjoyed every day”, “had friends everywhere and loved to make people laugh”, loved his grandchildren”– this is how Bill will be remembered my many. He was a very social person who like to get out to do things, whether taking car rides, eating out, watching the sunsets and boats at the Peninsula, or riding his motorcycle, Bill took pleasure in it all. He was well-liked by many and it seemed like he knew the names of all the waitresses that ever served him.

Bill served in the U.S. Air Force from 1956-60. For many years he was employed at Dahl Motors and Meadowcroft Dodge before taking a job at General Electric in 1974. He retired in 1981 due to health reasons. But, Bill liked to keep busy, so for almost 15 years he could be seen regularly at Muggs as the night manager, and then for another 15 years at St. Francis Usher’s Club in McKean. It was here that he made many lifelong friends. Bill used to be an avid bowler, and he was a member of the Sunflower Club, Siebenbuerger Club, CYS Club, South Erie Turners, and La Nuova Aurora Society.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jeri Trask Flook in 2002, and three siblings: Betty Nestor, JoAnn Page, and George Flook.

Survivors include three children: Scott L. Flook and wife Diane of Harborcreek, Kimberly S. Mullinax of Erie, and Edward A. Flook and wife Amy of Harborcreek; four grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Allie, Hennley, and Brody; his girlfriend of the last 10 years, Norma Cowley; five sisters: Edie Rios and husband Al of Erie, Moonyean Armstrong and husband Doug of Bourbonnais, IL, Lonnie Edwards and husband Bill of Lake City, Elaine Hull and friend Ted Fox of Erie, and Ann Donovan and husband Mike of Erie; and three brothers: Don Flook and wife Hazel of Waterford, Vern Flook and wife Jean of Waterford, and Dan Flook and wife Carlette of Texas.
