Jeffery A. Sanders, age 59, of Waterford, died Saturday, February 14, 2015 at UPMC Montefiore in Pittsburgh. He was born October 11, 1955 in Erie, the son of the late Everett and Betty Gray Sanders.
Jeff worked for 11 years as a driver for EMTA Lift in Erie until he retired in 2013 because of health reasons. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, fishing, and watching football and baseball. Most of all, he simply liked being at home with his fianc???e of six years, Traci Bedow.
Other family members include four children: Megan Sanders and Katie Sanders, both of Erie, Todd Bedow (Brenda) of Union City, and Jessica Bedow of Erie; five grandchildren; his brother Gary Flynn of Erie; and his extended family, the Goodenows.
Friends may call at Van Matre Funeral Home, 105 Walnut Street, Waterford on Tuesday from 3-5 p.m. and from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. at which time the funeral service will begin. Pastor Ryan Grafton of the First Baptist Church of Edinboro will officiate.
My deepest sympathies for your loss. In the weeks to come your grief may become overwhelming. These words from the Bible can give you comfort. At Isaiah 41:10 it says: “He (Jehovah God) will strengthen you and He will Foritfy you and take you by His right hand of righteousness.” He also promises those in the graves will hear His voice and come out to a resurrection of life (John 5:28,29). So we will be able to see our loved ones again.
