Barbara Ann Caldwell, age 77, lifelong resident of the Cambridge and Union City areas, passed away after a long illness on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Edinboro Manor, Edinboro, PA. Born on July 16, 1938 in Waterford, PA, Barbara was a daughter of the late Paul Walters, Sr. and Margaret Jillson Walters. She married Ralph Raymond Caldwell on June 9, 1956 and he survives.

Caldwell, Barbara Ann Barbara graduated from Edinboro High School with the Class of 1956 and later from Erie County Vo-Tech School becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse. She practiced nursing for 22 years retiring in 1995. A member of the Millers Station United Methodist Church, Barbara enjoyed roller skating in her younger years and it was at the roller rink where she met her husband, Ralph. Barbara also enjoyed traveling to many of the United States.

Surviving Barbara in addition to her husband is a daughter – Cynthia Caldwell and a son – Kevin Caldwell both of Cambridge Springs; and two grandchildren – Erica Caldwell and Joshua Caldwell also of Cambridge Springs. Barbara was preceded in death in addition to her parents by a son – Jeffrey Alan Caldwell who died in 1992, a sister – Martha Seekings; and two brothers – Paul Walters, Jr. and LeRoy Walters.

Friends may call at the Van Matre Family Funeral Home in Cambridge Springs on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral services will be held there Monday morning at 11:00 with Michael Kuvshinikov, chaplain of Regional Home and Hospice, officiating. Interment will be in Venango Cemetery.
