Jean Marie Gray, age 52 — May 10, 1963 to July 27, 2015.

Gray, Jean MarieOn July 27, 2015, an angel that earned her wings here on earth peacefully went home to be with the Lord. She was born May 10, 1963, a lifelong resident of Waterford where she spent most of her life and attended Fort LeBoeuf Schools. Our mother had one of the hardest jobs of today?????s homemakers raising her ????emolitions D?????s!???? – David, Danny, Derick and step-son Ralph Burger. She was rooted in small town grit and was not afraid of strutting in front of danger to protect her children.

Throughout her extended illness, she was a fighter even to the end. We knew, being our mother, she had to be the toughest woman on earth. She fought an illness that can?????t be seen called Huntington?????s Disease. On the cloudiest of days, her smile lit up the room.

Our mom was our best friend and the best grandma ever. To the softest whisper???_ To the sweetest smile???_ We will remember her love and selflessness for her brothers and sisters, her boys, and especially her granddaughter Riley Jane. God bless everyone for always protecting her and thinking of her. Jean was very appreciative of her brothers and sisters always being there for her. Over these past several years, she had the apple of her eye, her granddaughter Riley Jane, that made so many days very special for her.

Survivors include three children, David Banta of Export, PA, Daniel Banta of Latrobe, PA, and Derick Burger of Warren, PA; two sisters and two brothers, Christine Gray-Westbrook of Falmouth, Maine, Patricia Brown of Champaign, IL, John Gray of Erie, PA, and Jeff Gray of West Palm Beach, FL; and one granddaughter, Riley Jane Banta.
