Marion Louise Galbraith, a long time resident of Waterford, left this earthly world at her home surrounded by loved ones on August 7, 2015. She was born on September 7, 1945 to Theodore and Thelma Kerr Fries. She married Robert G. Galbraith Sr. on July 7, 1962.
Marion attended Fort LeBoeuf High School, and had been an employee of Fuhrman Brown Precision Tool Company for over 40 years. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren and their various events, as well as, the Fort LeBoeuf Football Team. Her life revolved around her family and she adored her grandchildren. She enjoyed going on shopping adventures with her sister and visiting the casino on occasion.
She will be greatly missed by her husband, her sons, Robert Jr. and Richard, daughter-in-law Renae, five grandchildren, Robert III, Holly, Hamilton, Joseph and Gabrielle; and six great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her brothers Ted (Mary) and Fred (Laurie) Fries; her sisters Janet King and Connie (Rich) Militello; three brothers-in-law, Alexander (Giselle), Howard (Maryann), and Richard M. Galbraith, as well as many nephews and nieces.
Friends may call at Van Matre Funeral Home, 105 Walnut Street, Waterford on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and may attend funeral services there Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. Deacon Tom McAraw from All Saints Parish will officiate. Burial will follow in Waterford Cemetery.
