Mark Leroy Bundy, age 61, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at his residence in Vernon Township, Crawford County, PA on Monday, October 19, 2015. Born on August 12, 1954 in Meadville, Mark was a son of Elsamae Fry Bundy and the late, Charles Leroy Bundy. Mark graduated from Cambridge Springs High School with the Class of 1973 and then attended auto body technician school in Blairsville, IN. He established his own auto body shop, Bundy’s Auto Body, in Cambridge Springs, in 1977, operating his business for over 30 years. He was currently working for several auto body shops in the area.
Mark enjoyed hunting and fishing. He attended Living Waters Church in Meadville and lived for his children and grandchildren.
Surviving Mark in addition to his mother, Elsamae Bundy of Cambridge Springs, are two daughters – Naomi Marie Pelc of Atlantic and her children – Kayla Pelc and Matthew Pelc; and Holly Vera Luce and her husband, Greg of Conneautville and their children – Payton Luce, Olivia Patterson, Gabrielle Luce, and Wyatt Luce. Additional survivors include four brothers and one sister – Richard Bundy and his wife, Cindi of Millsboro, PA; Roxane Frantz and her husband, Bob of Meadville; Tim Bundy of Meadville; Dale Bundy of Marietta, GA; and Brian Bundy and his wife, Sheila of Cambridge Springs. Also numerous nieces and nephews survive. Preceding Mark in death was his son – Jeremy Bundy, in 2002; and his wife – Carolyn Bundy, in 2010.
Friends may call on Monday, October 26th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Van Matre Family Funeral Home in Cambridge Springs and to attend funeral services there on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with pastor Ray Martinez of Living Waters Church of Meadville officiating. Interment will follow at Millers Station Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in Mark’s name in care of the Van Matre Family Funeral Home, 335 Venango Avenue, Cambridge Springs, PA 16403.

I am so sorry to learn of Mark’s passing. He was my first friend when we moved to Venango and we spent may hours at my house playing tether ball and croquet. He was as well a classmate of mine from 7th grade through graduation. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him and those of us who carry fond memories of him. Rest in Peace my friend.

Mark will be so missed! He was one of the sweetest guys I’ve known. He was so accepting and loving. A great example of his Christian beliefs! Thanks for teaching me how to fillet a fish!!! 🙂
