Lynda S. Hermann, age 67, of Waterford, passed away Friday, December 25, 2015 at her home after a long illness. Born in Erie on July 8, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Avery and Elizabeth Hessling Coy.

Lynda worked at Dominick’s Restaurant for 15 years before opening a gift store in Waterford, “Trinkets and Treasures”. She was very talented at making crafts and ceramics and even taught ceramics classes. Lynda enjoyed playing cards and going to flea markets, and most of all, she loved her family as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

This coming summer on July 7th, Lynda would have celebrated 25 years of marriage with her loving husband Rocky Hermann. Her family includes daughter Traci Parker, three grandchildren- Chadd, Randie, and Jesse Parker, two great-grandchildren, and two brothers- Butch Wojtecki (wife, Patty) and John Coy.

Friends are invited to visiting hours at Van Matre Funeral Home, 105 Walnut Street, Waterford on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and to a funeral service there Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
