Nancy Glenn Pace Wright went to be with the Lord on June 3, 2016. Her death was due to complications from dementia. Nancy enjoyed family, painting, antiquing, and traveling. She particularly enjoyed her granddaughters.

Born in Washington, Missouri on July 13, 1941, Nancy was the daughter of George and Rosa Lee Pace. She attended Washington High School and then went on to obtain her B.S. in Elem. Ed. From Webster University and her M.S. in Ed. From Maryville University, both in St. Louis, MO. She taught for eighteen years in the Fox School District of Arnold, MO. After retiring, Nancy and her husband moved from St. Louis to Erie to be near their family.

Nancy married Louis H. Wright of Washington, MO on June 3, 1960. To their union was born one daughter, Christine Glenn, who married Bradley J. Stuart of Edinboro, PA. Chris and Brad gave Nancy and Louis two beautiful granddaughters, Ashley Glenn and Katie Lee.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Betty Lee Pace Pope. Nancy is survived by her husband, Louis; daughter and son-in-law, Chris and Brad Stuart; two granddaughters, Ashley Glenn Stuart and Katie Lee Stuart; a sister-in-law, a brother-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.

On Thursday, June 9, 2016, friends and family may call at Van Matre Family Funeral Home, 306 Erie Street, Edinboro from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and attend the funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Brian Kelly of McLane Church officiating. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Mary Reynolds for her care while Nancy was at home, and the staff of Hall B at Fairview Manor, especially Nancy, Jason, Mary, and all the nurses for their devoted and loving care.
