????? Sarah Jean Washburn, age 48, transitioned to her heavenly Father on Friday, September 23, 2016 as a result of complications from surgery. She was living with her sister and brother-law, Dore and Darin Reisinger of Girard. Sarah was born in Erie, PA on April 6, 1968 the daughter of the late Raymond Washburn and Carol Laird Washburn.

????? washburn-sarahSarah graduated from General McLane High School in 1989. She was then employed for 23 years at the Edinboro Giant Eagle. A true Pittsburgh Pirates fan, Sarah enjoyed playing cards, her favorite game being UNO. She loved animals and they were always drawn to her kind spirit. Sarah was thoughtful and giving, as well as a woman of great faith. She was a member of McLane Church in Edinboro. Sarah loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them, and was very much loved and cherished.

?????? Preceding Sarah in death in addition to her mother – Carol Laird Washburn Wright, her father – Raymond Washburn; her step-father – Arthur Wright; her grandparents – Fred and Edna Laird; and her dear friend and Godmother – Mary Rapchick.

??????She will be sadly missed by her favorite aunt and uncle – Linda Laird Staszewski (Tom); her brothers and sisters – Theresa English (George); Fred Washburn (Reta); Scott Washburn (Deyna Cox Kohler); Craig Wright (Emily); Dore Reisinger (Darin); Tom Wright, and friend, Sandy Reisinger (Wayne). In addition, she is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Andrew English (Tori), Jacob English (Kelly), Matt Washburn, Michael Washburn, Tyler Wright (Vanessa Curtis), Julia Wright, Austin Wright, Abby Reisinger, Tara Fannon (Brian), Trent Amoroso (Roxanne), and Todd Amoroso. Great nieces and nephews include: Nicholas Fannon, Kaitlyn Fannon, Jade Amoroso, Ella Amoroso, Raelynn Kohler, and Sophie Kohler; step nieces and nephews: Philip Kohler (Kirs Nicole), Chris Kohler, and Alice Kohler. Sarah is also survived by many cousins.

????? Services will be held on Sunday, October 2nd at 2:00 p.m. at McLane Church on 12511 Edinboro Road, Edinboro (Rt. #99).
