Betty J. Cross Whittelsey, our sweet wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully at the age of 89 on September 14, 2016. Betty was born September 12, 1927 to Steen and Margaret Rose Cross and was raised on the farm on Bagdad Road in Waterford. She graduated and married her high school sweetheart, John E. Betty was an active member of the Presbyterian Church in Waterford and served faithfully during her life. She was a great cook, homemaker and loved to travel. Betty is survived by her husband John, and children Rick (Karann), Randy (Judy), Raleigh, Pam (Richard) Sjostrom, five grandchildren and soon to be seven great grandchildren.

The Whittelsey family would like to thank the staff at Ball Pavilion – Brevillier Village for their kindness and compassionate care.
