Gerald Ray Willey, age 58, resident of 31429 Tattle Street, Rockdale Acres, Cambridge Springs, Pa died at Meadville Medical Center, Meadville of a sudden illness occurring on Tuesday, November 15, 2016. Born on April 23, 1958 in Meadville, Gerald was a son of the late Gerald Lynn Willey and Martha Dean Willey. He married the former Barbara Anne King on February 5, 1977 and she survives. After receiving his high school education, Gerald was employed for over 30 years by Thayer Construction of Fairview as a lineman, eventually becoming a foreman. He also did willey-gerald010various side jobs doing mechanical work. It was said that he could repair “most anything”. He enjoyed collecting Ford Mustangs and owned eight, special-year models. Gerald also enjoyed hunting, but his special pleasure was being with his grandchildren.

Surviving Gerald is his wife, Barbara; two sons – Gerald Ray Willey, Jr. and his wife, Tonica of Meadville and Tim E. Willey of Cambridge Springs; a daughter – Heather M. Landers of Cambridge Springs; nine grandchildren – Jade, Shireen, Logan, Amber, Chloe, Jordie, Maya, Haley, and Cami. He is also survived by a brother – Carl Cooper and his wife, Misty of Cambridge Springs and a sister – Cora Kinter of Cochranton. He was preceded in death by two brothers – Louis Willey and Richard Willey; and family member – Margaret Elaine Baker.
