?????? Joyce Elaine Hannold, age 74, resident of Rochester, NY passed away at Monroe Community Hospital in Rochester on Saturday, January 28, 2017. Born on July 12, 1942 in Meadville, PA, Joyce was a daughter of the late Merrick and Mildred Donaldson Thayer. She married Blythe R. Hannold on November 11, 1961 and who preceded her in death on November 11, 1996. A graduate of Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf, she was employed at Spectrum Control in Saegertown for 18 years. Joyce enjoyed crafts, quilting, gardening, playing cards, and traveling.

Joyce is survived by her daughter – Marlene Patterson (Frank) of Waterford; her four grandchildren – Kristen LaPlante (Walter) of Livonia, MI; Sydney, Dalton, and Dylan Patterson,? all of Waterford; and one great grandchild – Nora LaPlante. She is survived by her sister – Marilyn Longenecker (Warren) of Port Charlotte, FL and a brother – Merrick Thayer of Chestertown, MD. Additionally, by her stepsisters – Ginger (Duane) Martin, Bobbie (Jerry) Fuller, Laurie (Phil) Perkins, and Beverly Danlka; her aunt – Esther Ray of Okeechobee, FL and her companion – William Lindsey of Rochester. Also several nieces, nephews, and cousins survive.
????? Friends may call at the Van Mare Family Funeral Home in Cambridge Springs on Tuesday, January 31st from 2-4 and 6-8. Funeral services will be held there on Wednesday, February 1st at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Venango Cemetery.

Sorry to hear lost of your loving mother Joyce, She was wonder lady at WPSD? She is no more suffering now peacefully in heaven with her.. We will memories of her times at WPSD School. You will have good memories of your mother, grandmother and companion-Bill Lindsey in there life times with her and her heart is most of loving to all of u! Blessed with your comfort of sympathy .
