Martha Jane Coolbeth, age 76, of McKean and Edinboro, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017 at UPMC Hamot. Born August 1, 1941 in Westover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles J. and N. Elizabeth Westover White.

Jane moved her family to McKean in 1975 and worked at the McKean Super Duper where she enjoyed making many friends. During this time she studied to become a nurse’s assistant and went on to work at Pleasant Ridge Manor West for the next 17 years until her retirement.

Jane liked to work in her yard gardening, she enjoyed reading, knitting and crocheting, and she especially loved her visits with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was truly loved by her family and will be missed.

Those preceding her in death include her sister Joan Burdick, and her brother Conrad White.

Survivors include two daughters, Pamela Jean Crane of Lake City, and Deborah Lynn Patterson of Waterford; five grandchildren– Matthew Patterson (Terri Mando), Alysia Peterson (Charles), Nicholas Huegel (Amy), Ashley Kula (Andrew), and Olivia Farley; four great-grandchildren– Ava, Lydia, Dawson, and Ty; and a sister-in-law, Ethel White of Edinboro.

Friends and family may call at Van Matre Family Funeral Home, 306 Erie Street, Edinboro on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and may attend funeral services there Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Ryan Grafton of the First Baptist Church of Edinboro will officiate. ?Interment will be in Edinboro Cemetery.
