Alice Bonito, age 93, of Waterford, passed away to be present with the Lord on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital. Born February 6, 1925 in Erie, she was the daughter of the late Nishan and Satenig Hashoian Mooradian. She was devoted to her loving husband of 65 years, Carmel “Carm” Bonito, whom she married on October 7, 1949. He preceded her in death on July 15, 2014.

She worked at Wesleyville High School and then Fort LeBoeuf High School as a school secretary, and was secretary of the Fort LeBoeuf School District School Board for many years before her retirement.
The foundation of Alice’s life was her faith in Jesus. She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age, and loved and served Him throughout her life. Her faith showed in her attitude and the way she lived; she was fun-loving, happy, devoted to her family, and always had a joyful heart.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carm Bonito; and two brothers, Harry and Louie Mooradian.
Family members that survive include her son, James A. Bonito and wife Patricia of Waterford, and her daughter, Patricia A. Sarring and husband Rudy of Edinboro; her granddaughter Allyson C.
