Denise A. Palmero, age 57, of Cambridge Springs passed away at Meadville Medical Center on January 25, 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer. Denise was born in Rome, NY, on November 30, 1961, the daughter of Larry James Clark and Mary Russell Clark. She graduated from Commodore Perry High School in 1979, and married Larry Palmero on April 25, 1987. For over twenty-five years she has worked as a radiology transcriptionist at Meadville Medical Center. She was an active member of the First Church of God in Cambridge Springs, where she participated in the youth programs, played the keyboard and piano, and enjoyed singing. Denise was an avid Pirates fan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Mike Clark.
Survivors include her husband, Larry J. Palmero of Cambridge Springs; son, Michael J. Palmero of Cambridge Springs; daughter, Carly M. Palmero of Cambridge Springs; son, Matthew E. Palmero of Northfield, NJ; son, Marcus J. Palmero of Cambridge Springs; granddaughter, Cameron Palmero; grandson, Emery Palmero; granddaughter, Lola Clark; sister-in-law, Ginger Palmero of Northfield, NJ; sister-in-law, Joettea Surace and her husband, John, of Fort Republic, NJ; her companion, Rocky the pug; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends are invited to call at the Van Matre Funeral Home in Cambridge Springs on Saturday, January 26, 2019, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and are invited to a funeral service to be held at the First Church of God in Cambridge Springs on Sunday, January 27, at 11 a.m. With the Rev. Jim Callender officiating.
