Together, Ted and Jo had a huge impact on many of the students at Alliance College and in the town of Cambridge Springs. While Ted was the basketball coach, Jo was the woman behind the scenes. Former students and players continued to stop by her Cambridge Springs home to visit this special lady.
She enjoyed attending all sporting events, especially the ones her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren played and anytime the Pittsburgh Steelers or Pirates played. She also enjoyed playing bingo, dancing, singing, and cooking. She was very involved at St. Anthony?s Catholic Church where both she and Ted were choir members. They sang at many weddings and funerals for people from Cambridge as well as the Alliance College community.
Since 2016, she has been in the care of her granddaughter, Stacy, and her husband, Jeff. Over the past five years, she has enjoyed traveling up and down the east coast, going on boat rides, flying out west, and sitting by the pool.
