David “Joey” Capron, 33, of Cambridge Springs passed away, unexpectedly, on Friday, April 9, 2021, at Meadville Medical Center. Joey was born in Union City on April 10, 1987, the son of Matthew Joseph Capron and Mary Anna Black Capron Russell. He graduated with the Cambridge Springs High School class of 2005. Joey had worked in the oil fields as a rig hand for several years, as a construction worker, as a home health care aid and childcare giver. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.

     He was preceded in death by grandparents: Julius and Betty Russell, Donna and Chuck Black, and Ron Rathbun; aunt, Darlene Jackson; and uncle, Emory Black.

     Survivors include his parents, Mary and David Russell of Cambridge Springs; grandmother, Vera Rathbun of Corry; sister, Angel Laperriere and her husband, Mark and their children: Joey, Matt, Gabbie, Dawson, and Benny; brother, Dr. David Russell and his wife, Dr. Alecia Russell and their children, Penny and Charlie; sister, Kelly Russell; brother, Mark Russell; sister, Teasha Russell; brother, Kevin Russell; sister, Sofia Russell; sister, Kalee Russell; and seven nieces and nephews.      

A service will be held on Tuesday, April 27, at 5 p.m. at McLane Church in Edinboro with Pastor Mike Priestap officiating.
