Judith “Judy” Ann Wolfe, 80, of Cambridge Springs passed away on July 12, 2021, at her home with her family by her side. Judy was born on January 15, 1941, at the family home in Cambridge township, the daughter of the late George and Eleanora (Becker) Gage. She moved to Florida with her family and graduated from Ft. Lauderdale High School in 1958. She remained close with her school friends at Cambridge Springs High School. On December 16, 1958, she married her childhood sweetheart, Gale Wolfe, and they enjoyed sixty years together until his passing on May 1, 2019. They made their home in Cambridge Springs but were “snowbirds” for the winter months spending the winter season at Adelaide Shores in Avon Park, FL. During the summer months Gale and Judy were often found camping and boating at Tionesta. Judy was the church secretary at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church for over ten years prior to her employment as Cambridge Springs High School secretary for over twenty-seven years, retiring in 2001.

     Judy is survived by her two sons, Scott Wolfe and his wife, Lisa of Cambridge Springs, Greg Wolfe and his significant other, Joann of Cambridge Springs; grandson, Chad Wolfe and his wife, Jennifer of Mason, OH; grandson, Brent Wolfe of Charlotte, NC; great grandchildren, Hailey, Samantha, Jayden, Mason, and Brooklynn; sister, Jane Johnson of Ft. Washington, MD; brother-in-law, Gary Wolfe and his wife, Charna of Cambridge Springs; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.      

Friends may call at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Drakes Mills, PA on Thursday, July 15, from 10-12 pm and are invited to a funeral service to be held there at 12 noon with pastor Mark Fischer officiating. Interment will follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Cambridge Springs Volunteer Fire Department or to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. The family wishes to thank the staff of Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute, Meadville, PA. for their care.
