Pressley W Campbell, 97, of Meadville passed away with his family by his side on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at his residence. Press was born in Woodcock Township on November 2, 1924, son of the late J. Roy Campbell and Laura Belle Humes Campbell. He graduated with the Cambridge Springs High School class of 1942 and married the former Shirley June Cutshall on November 1, 1949. He joined the United States Army serving from 1948-1952. In 1968, he began working at PPG, retiring in 1986. Press was a longtime member of the Gravel Run Presbyterian Church. As an avid sports fan, he enjoyed Pittsburgh Steelers games and was a dedicated, caring father and husband.

In addition to his parents, Press was preceded in death by brothers Robert Campbell, John Campbell, Floyd Campbell; sisters Greta Laird, Alice Clark, Margaret Dahn, Bertha Newell and Ruth Armstrong
Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Shirley Campbell of Meadville; son, Bob Campbell and his wife, Natalie of Canton, OH, and their daughter, Katharine Castro and her husband, Francisco of Pickerington, OH; daughter, Cynthia Campbell and her companion, Kurt Pearson of Leominster, MA; and sister, Edith Rabell of Meadville.
Friends may call at Van Matre Funeral Home, Cambridge Springs on Monday, November 22, 2021, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and are invited to a funeral service to be held there on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at 11 am. Interment will follow at Venango Cemetery.
