Jeffrey J. Parkin, 65, of Cambridge Springs passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021, at Meadville Medical Center from complications due to Covid. Jeffrey was born in Union City on June 21, 1956, the son of the late John Parkin and Kathryn Woods Parkin. He graduated from Cambridge Springs High School with the class of 1974 and had been a sports editor of the Brown Thompson Newspapers. His career working for Lord Corporation of Cambridge Springs spanned forty-one years until his retirement in 2017. For many years Jeff photographed local athletes and teams for their families and publication in regional newspapers. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, storytelling and sipping his favorite drink, Mountain Dew. He was a heck of a grandpa.

He was preceded in death by infant son, Adam; and his brother, Gary Parkin.
Survivors include his wife, Tammie Huffman Parkin, whom he married on April 23, 2010; son, Steve Parkin and his wife, Dyan of Erie; daughter, Shannon Evangeliste and her husband, Nick of Pittsburgh; son, Andrew Parkin and his significant other, Mallory of Erie; daughter, Megn Parkin of Canadohta Lake; sixteen grandchildren; one great grandson; brother, Russ Parkin of Cranesville; sister, Cindy Hanna and her husband, Dewey of Pittsburgh; brother, John “Boomer” Parkin of Erie; stepdaughter, Jessica Craker of Waterford; and stepson, Stephen Craker and his wife, Emily of Erie.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
To Tammie, so sorry to here of your loss Jeff will be missed by many. I always enjoyed talking to him and making his special salad down at the pizza shop and he will definitely be missed greatly.
To Tammie and family, I like to send my condolence to all the family members for you loss of Jeff. It was a joy to work with Jeff at Lord Corporation for so many years. Jeff always had great sport pools to get into. His energy and special personality was greatly appreciated. He and Tammie had such a great love of bingoing and photography.
