Judith Irene Wrye, 83, of Cambridge Springs passed away on May 13, 2022, at Marquette Hospice House, Meadville. Judy was born on April 11, 1939, in Meadville the daughter of the late Norman Ardell Wrye and Marian Rachel McClain Wrye. Judy graduated from Saegertown High School with the class of 1958. With her pleasant personality, Judy made friends easily and dedicated her life to helping others. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Cambridge Springs.
She was preceded in death by sister, Karen Timco in 1990; sister, Linda McClearn in 2013; and niece, Patti Courtney.
Survivors include brother, Ronald N. Wrye and his wife, Marcia of Billings, MT; sister, Rebecca A. Timco and her husband, Robert of Saegertown; brother, Timothy L. Wrye and his wife, Kim of Mohnton, PA; twelve nieces and nephews including Keith Wrye, Lisa Price, Lori Singleton, Erin Cromer, Darrin Timco, Scott Wrye, Shawn Wrye, Haley Wrye Debra Kibbe, Cheryl Collins, Marc Johns and Ric Johns.
Friends may call at Van Matre Funeral Home, Cambridge Springs on Tuesday, May 17, from 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held there on Wednesday, May 18 at 10 am. Interment will follow in Venango Cemetery.
Judy and I shared lunchtime at the Olde Tyme Cafe. We laughed and sighed and enjoyed our days. We waved on the street, so here’s a wave Judy, I hope to meet you again some day.
