Donald D. Chase, age 74, of Waterford, died Saturday, June 25, 2022 at UPMC Hamot. Born October 7, 1947 in Waterford, Don was a son of the late Milton Chase and Vera Estes Chase.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Linda Graham Chase; two children- Dawn Decker (Louie) and Bryan Chase; three step-children- Stephanie Smiley (Dave), Melissa Vollmer, and Jeremy Mercer; two sisters- Marge Ormsbee and Patsy Bedow; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Stacey; his brothers- John, Bob, Ray, Bill, and Jim; and his sister, Marian.

Don served in the U.S. Army for two years and was a member of the American Legion Post 285 in Waterford. He retired from Erie Coke after 38 years of service and he enjoyed working on lawnmowers.

Friends may gather for a memorial at the American Legion Post 285 in Waterford on Saturday, July 9th from 2-5 pm.
